Day 01: Arrival in Delhi – Delhi Sightseeing

Your Golden Triangle Tour begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel, airport, railway station, or preferred location in Delhi.

Meet your private driver and begin your exploration of India’s capital city. Depending on your arrival time, the sightseeing schedule can be adjusted to suit your travel plans.

(9:30 AM – 12:30 PM) Explore Old & New Delhi

Begin your Delhi sightseeing with a visit to Qutub Minar, a magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its impressive architecture and historical importance.

Continue toward central Delhi and pass by some of the city’s important landmarks, including India Gate, Parliament House, and the Presidential Palace.

You can also visit Humayun’s Tomb, an impressive Mughal monument and an important architectural predecessor to the Taj Mahal.

(12:30 PM – 1:30 PM) Lunch in Delhi

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring Indian and international cuisine. Take some time to relax before continuing your sightseeing.

(1:30 PM – 4:30 PM) Old Delhi Experience

Continue toward Old Delhi and visit Jama Masjid, one of India’s most historic mosques.

Depending on your interests and available time, enjoy a short rickshaw ride through the lively streets of Old Delhi. Experience the colorful markets, traditional shops, street food, and vibrant atmosphere of this historic part of the city.

(Around 5:00 PM) Hotel Check-in

After completing your Delhi sightseeing, return to your hotel and relax.

You can spend the evening at leisure or explore a nearby market or restaurant.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out and beginning your journey to Agra.

Travel by private air-conditioned vehicle along the expressway. The journey generally takes around 3-4 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.

(Around 11:00 AM) Arrival in Agra

Upon arrival in Agra, meet your local tour guide and begin exploring the historic city of the Taj Mahal.

(11:15 AM – 1:00 PM) Visit Agra Fort

Start your Agra sightseeing with a visit to the magnificent Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After lunch, visit Mehtab Bagh, a historic Mughal garden located across the Yamuna River.

The garden offers a peaceful setting and a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal from across the river. It is an excellent place for photographs and a different perspective of the monument.

(3:45 PM – 5:00 PM) Local Handicraft Experience

If interested, visit a local handicraft showroom to see Agra’s traditional marble inlay work, carpets, leather products, and other handicrafts.

You can learn about the craftsmanship behind these traditional products and purchase souvenirs if desired.

(Around 5:30 PM) Hotel Check-in
